Refund policy

 

REFUND POLICY - KILLER NASHVILLE INTERNATIONAL WRITERS' CONFERENCE

The following refund policy applies to registration and additional services for the Killer Nashville International Writers' Conference. It is crucial to understand these terms before making any purchases.

1. Registration Refunds:

    • Full Refunds: Applies until May 14, 2026, with a processing fee deduction of $20 for a 4-day registration or $10 for a single day registration.
    • 50% Refunds: Valid from May 15, 2026, to July 14, 2026, with a processing fee deduction of $20 for a 4-day registration or $10 for a single day registration.
    • No Refunds: Applies from July 15, 2026, onwards due to our contractual commitments with the hotel.
    • PLEASE NOTE: Processing fees are taken out of EACH item refunded.

    2. Additional Services Refunds:

      • Up to May 14, 2026 - Full refund less processing fee of $5
      • May 15, 2026-July 14, 2026 - 50% refund less processing fee of $5
      • July 15, 2026 and Following - NO REFUNDS due to our commitment to the hotel
      • PLEASE NOTE: Processing fees are taken out of EACH item refunded.

      3.a Award Submission Refunds (2026 Awards):

        • Up to November 30, 2025- Full refund less processing fee of $6
        • December 1, 2025-January 31, 2026 - 50% refund less processing fee of $6
        • February 1, 2026 and Following - NO REFUNDS
        • PLEASE NOTE: Refunds for award entries are NOT available after a manuscript has been submitted. Processing fees are taken out of EACH item refunded.

        3.b Award Submission Refunds (2027 Awards):

          • Up to November 30, 2026- Full refund less processing fee of $6
          • December 1, 2026-January 31, 2027 - 50% refund less processing fee of $6
          • February 1, 2027 and Following - NO REFUNDS
          • PLEASE NOTE: Refunds for award entries are NOT available after a manuscript has been submitted. Processing fees are taken out of EACH item refunded.

          4. Agent Round Table Refunds:

          • Due to the extremely limited availability and high demand for Agent Round Table spots, all sales are final and non-refundable. These spots are reserved specifically for each registrant, and once purchased, we cannot guarantee the ability to resell them if canceled. As such, we are unable to offer refunds for any reason, including schedule changes or cancellations.

          5. Merchandise Refunds:

            • No Refunds: All sales of merchandise are final.

            6. Non-Conference Items Refunds:

            • All refunds for non-conference specific items, such as newsletter ad placements, may receive a full refund less processing fee of $10

            7. Shopify Installment Plan:

            • Please be advised that Killer Nashville International Writers' Conference is not affiliated with Shopify's installment payment plan system. Attendees choosing to use Shopify's installment plan for payment of conference fees are subject to the terms and conditions outlined by Shopify. Killer Nashville assumes no responsibility for transactions processed through Shopify's installment plan and any disputes or inquiries related to such payments must be directed to Shopify's customer service. We encourage all attendees to review Shopify's terms and conditions carefully before opting for their installment payment option.

            By registering for the conference or purchasing any additional services, you acknowledge and accept these conditions. We appreciate your understanding.
